  • The objective of the Teen Straight Talk Building Blocks presentations are:
  • To increase student’s respect for themselves and others
  • To seek , identify, and value positive relationships
  • To seek develop an awareness of  the ways peers and the media can influence their decision making
  • To inform students about the importance of making healthy decisions now which will bring their dreams for the future closer to reality
  • To educate students in the blessings of abstinence (including drugs and alcohol)
  • To encourage student to commit to abstinence now.
     

Teens Young Adults

Teen Straight Talk

Teen Straight Talk provides a program to schools to inform students on the dangers of sexual activity before marriage. The purpose of the program is to effectively present the message of abstinence and instill a process of decision making that will support a healthy lifestyle. The objective of the Teen Straight Talk presentation are:

  • To clearly present abstinence as a commitment to abstain from all forms of sexual activity.
  • To educate children, teens, and adults with the consequences of sexual activity outside the boundaries of marriage.
  • To develop an abstinence education program that is appropriate to meet the needs of a diverse audience of adolescents – aged 12 through 18.
  • To offer a program for parents that will provide tools and resources to effectively assist in building a firm belief system of values for their youngsters to stand on when confronted with today’s many critical choices in life.
  • To create awareness that today’s music, television, movies, magazines, media, peers, and the internet directly and indirectly influences decisions that may dictate or impact one’s lifestyle.
  • To promote an understanding that abstinence includes abstaining from anything that may be unhealthy to one’s wellbeing.
  • To teach self-worth, values, truths, and healthy personal choices.
     

Follow Up Presentation

The objective of the Teen Straight Talk follow up presentation are:

  • To review and reinforce abstinence concepts presented by Teen Straight Talk
  • To provide hands on, experiential learning of physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual consequences of sexual activity outside the protective boundaries of marriage
  • To challenge students to adopt an abstinence only lifestyle
