Over the years, our talks, presentations, and your support have helped guide our youth along the right path. Here's a few REAL letters we've recieved from teens we've influenced through our presentations
Sponsor of Teen Straight Talk,
This presentation I recently saw didn't say just don't have sex. It went further into our faith that God does not want us to have sex until marriage. The message I got out of it was to respect the body that God gave me, and I should respect the gift of virginity I received from God. Mary Duke made the presentation informative, yet also humorous. She made us think in a mature manner and didn't treat us like little kids. Through Ms. Duke's presentation I pledge to stay abstinent until marriage.
Thank you, Dina C.
To Whom It May Concern,
Mary Duke was sent to our school with the message of "abstinence until marriage." Well, for me, she got the point across great. She used God as the center of her presentation, and I learned a lot about how God wants us to live by not having sex before marriage. Before Mary Duke came to our school, I had thoughts about whether or not to have sex before marriage. when she came to our school that thought went right out of my head about sex before marriage. Mary Duke impacted my life greatly. She is truly a gift from God. She is living how God wants her to live.
Thank you, Anthony P.
Sir or Madam,
Recently Mary Duke visited our school to talk to us about sexual abstinence. Many of us reflected on what she had to say, and we learned a lot about how to keep our bodies safe. We were all interested with what she taught us, as we became much more knowledgeable on sexual transmitted diseases. Everything she said was something that will be useful in everyone's lives. She also used some humor in her speech, which was enjoyed greatly. She gave us a sign to keep our lives healthy, and we now know what harmful things can do to our body. I think I speak for the entire seventh grade when I say that she has given us something that we all needed to know. It was a great experience.
Sincerely, Ryan G.
Sir or Madam,
I had a good time listening to Mrs. Duke. She did a great job informing us of the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and other stuff. I truly learned a lot of good information. The theme of the presentation was "abstinence until marriage." She did a great job centering it around God. Mrs. Duke also had humor too. The Teen Straight Talk helped me better understand the dangers and told me how to lead my life in the right direction. She is like a role model. Mrs. Duke told us to follow God and listen to him with all our hearts and he will lead us. She said doing drugs takes us away from God. Mrs. Duke did a super job and is helping kids everywhere stay close to God.
Sincerely, Jacob O.
Madam or Sir,
Hi, my name is Michael and Mary Duke came to my school to talk about abstinence. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the presentation because I had an appointment, but I heard it was very interesting. When I got to school around noon, everyone was telling me what had happened, and what was said. I was glad that someone came to our school and taught us this very important lesson. I was sorry that I couldn't come. I also heard about how you talked about staying away from drugs and alcohol. This is another very important topic that I'm glad you brought up, and I'm sorry I missed. Everyone said that it really touched them, and made them want to avoid drugs and alcohol. Once again, thank you for coming to our school and teaching us these important lessons.
Sincerely, Michael V

Thank you for the talk you gave us. it was very informative. I appreciate that you thought of us, and took time to visit us. Mary Duke gave the presentation very well. She got her point out and based the whole thing on God.
She let us know how we should always do what God wants. I will never forget what she said: abstinence until marriage.
Thank you, Janie C.

Q: " What do you do when your Mom says 'Don't have sex!', but your Dad hands you a condom?"
