Teen Straight Talk to go to Dominican Republic

Here at TST we are thrilled as we plan our upcoming mission trip to the Dominican Republic in May 5-12 2012! Armed with a group of ten abstinence educators and God's message, TST is ready to minister to the underprivileged youth and people of the D.R. The people who live there are dealing with issues such as STDs, poverty and sexual slavery everyday. For the last few months, TST has been starting a collections of gently used tennis shoes and baseball hats to bring with us to pass out to the locals.  We have collected over 200 pounds of shoes and baseball hats, as well as over 50 pounds of hard candy for the trip. We are also bringing wristbands with us that say "I am special, TST" on one side, and "Yo Soy Especial, TST" in Spanish on the  other side. We believe that God is a God of ALL nations, and we will spread his love and his message to unto all the earth as He said. We are in need of volunteers and donations (which are tax deductible) to Teen Straight Talk. Each person who is attending this trip will be responsible for raising $1500. What we are doing is something big; bringing hope to a place that is in poverty and desperately needs help. Please partner with TST and help us bring this empowering message to those in need.
